EASTER

our Easter was just right and nearly perfect. not too much planning, yet everything worked out. a lot of relaxing happened (which i'm all for these days...and always). the little one and i made some adorable cupcakes the night before and boiled eggs, to be dyed on easter morning. the day of, jules woke up to her easter basket, which just so happened to have all the things she so badly wanted at target the day before. she was sure to point out that the easter bunny got all her stuff at target. she's quite the suspicious one on this whole easter bunny concept, i tell ya! we then dyed our eggs and soon after went to church, which was great, as always. for lunch, we didn't have anything planned, so we stopped at the grocery store, Ed dropped us off to "go park" (aka. rush home and put the easter eggs out) and then came inside so we could finish shopping for an impromptu bbq. jules was stoked when we came home to all the eggs - the perks of being an only child - no one to fight over the eggs with....not for long, little lady! ;) after the egg hunt, we grilled and then ate outside and had a nice picnic on the front lawn. the food and the weather were amazing. to finish off the awesome day, we came inside and watched the movie that the easter bunny brought jules - we bought a zoo. sometimes the unplanned days turn out to be the very best.
