i will say one thing, i love living in atlanta, BUT being an island girl (puerto-rican born), and raised in florida, it's hard to be far way from the beach during this hot summer. so you know the first thing i did when i arrived, right? heck yes, took my happy butt to the beach. and then again on the 4th of july. i could have stayed there forever if you let me. the kiddos had a great time, too.

our 4th of july was very laid back. we relaxed at my sister's house, watching recorded shows and laughing. then we took off, scooped up my mother-in-law and headed to the beach...again. my sister and her family met us there. after basking in the sun for a few hours, we went to visit edwin's grandmother, to say hello and snack feast on some delicious puerto rican food. lastly, we went back to my sister's house to watch fireworks in her neighborhood. good times.
