fashion feature friday {vol.2}

alright style enthusiasts, we are onto our 2nd fashion feature! i must say i am smitten of this new feature, and look forward to continue hosting stylish bloggers that you guys will love just as much as i do. with that said...eeep, i'm sooo excited about today's highlight! i love this girl. her style is so pretty, unique, and classy, with a huge emphasis on vintage. right up my alley!! i love seeing her outfit posts, her blog is ridiculously pretty & entertaining, her tweets are witty, and she's just all around the type of girl i wish i knew in person. without further ado, here is Liz from srslyliz. 

1. How would you describe your style? I often desribe my style as "comfortable chic" because although I enjoy looking polished and presentable I think being comfortable is a must-have to any outfit.   

2. Who/what is your biggest style influence? Lately I have been utterly obsessed with Mara's style. I don't know if maybe its her classic beauty but she definitely makes clothes look good. I'm also really big into feminine touches like florals  + lace as well as indian prints. They make up the majority of what's in my closet.

3. What 3 items do you wear often? My silver rings I wear daily, a pair of black flats {which I believe are essential to every wardrobe} & my handmade feather earrings.

4. What is your favorite kind of shoe? Depends on the season but I'd say I wear boots the most out of the year.  They are the most versatile shoe, I think.

5. How do you piece together your outfits? I usually start with the bottoms. I feel like the eye is drawn to that area first so I'll start with the skirt/pants and slowly add accents to the ensemble that way. Often times I find that I don't have enough *matching* shoes for my outfits which drives me bananas!

6. What are your favorite places to shop? I do most of my shopping online because it's easier and quicker that way. Favourites include: Lulus.com, forever21.com, & loveculture.com. Other than that I usually find vintage treasures in various boutiques around town.

7. Favorite beauty products? I love LUSH products, especially their Cupcake Mask. I can also get lost in Sephora for hours. Srsly if you can't find me I'm probably there. {lvelisse - i, too, adore LUSH. it has become my happy place}

8. If you could give one piece of style advice, what would it be?
I would say to work on establishing your own personal sense of style as opposed to assimilating yourself to trends you think other people will like on you. Like them on yourself, it shows. Women who are confident with what they're wearing pull it off a million times better, every time.

9. Favorite fashionable movie? 500 Days of Summer. I want every single thing Zooey Deschanel wears in that. {Ivelisse - liz, if only you knew that i am OBSESSED with Zooey!!!}

10.  Tell us 3 random things about yourself… 1> I have an obsession with the concept of time--especially with areas of the world where is sometimes a whole day "in the future." 2> I am fluent in Spanish; it was my first language. 3> I've gotten out of every single speeding ticket except one.
