...has officially begun...even though it feels nothing like spring & jules is going through another round of the flu. I'm hoping this means we'll be perfectly healthy just in time to enjoy the nice weather - when the time comes.
MINI VACATION

the girls and i joined my husband on a business trip to miami last weekend. we got to spend time with family and enjoy the beautiful weather. on this particular day, we went to south beach, where jubilee had her first encounter with the beach/sand. she was not a huge fan...at all. she was much more content eating snacks and playing with my sunglasses. the weather was in the 70s with the perfect beach breeze. jules - my little floridian, felt right at home - on the sand, on the beach. we did, too...
HEART CRAYONS

Saturday, boredom + rain/cold led us to make heart shaped multi-colored crayons. we used old, broken crayons and a silicone mold that we already had. We planned on making these for Valentine's day, but that just didn't happen. It was fun and jules LOVED the way they turned out. best of all, they were free.
I used this super easy tutorial.
